A security deposit of $500.00 reserves your party’s dates.  This deposit can be made by the host sending a check to our mailing address:

Security deposits must be received within 10 days of your confirmation of your reservation request or your dates may be released.  Once the Security deposit is received, our website calendar will reflect your stay with the host or group name’s initials.  Security deposits are fully refundable after your stay, provided there have been no violation of the terms.  Specific terms are outlined in our Rental Agreement as well as listed below.

I understand that by submitting/carrying over any payment whether it is a deposit or payment towards a stay, I agree to the terms identified on this page.

I understand as the host, I am responsible for the following: 1) pay at least half or the full balance 60 days prior to my group’s stay 2) pay the remaining balance 30 days prior to the retreat’s start date.  If I fail to do so my reservation may be canceled with no refund of deposit or payments made.

I understand that if I must cancel the reservation more than 60 days prior to the start of my stay, I am entitled to a full refund of my deposit. If it becomes necessary for me to cancel the retreat date with less than 60 days notice, I understand that I need to notify On Pins and Needles Castle Retreat, and that my $500 Security Deposit will be forfeited and any payments that have been submitted will be forfeited. This applies to both individuals and the group as a whole. If On Pins and Needles Retreat is able to rent your previously reserved dates, my deposit and other payments will be refunded.  

I understand that the $500 deposit will be held until after my retreat has ended and when the premises can be inspected for damages and excessive filth. I understand that if there is excessive filth or debris left behind it will result in additional cleaning that will be deducted from my deposit.  Should there be no damage or extra cleaning due to excessive filth, my deposit will be returned to me, the host, within one week of my request.  I can also allow my deposit to be rolled over for a future stay at the retreat. 

I understand that my group is responsible for logging out of apps used on the televisions and if I fail to do so any subsequent group staying at the retreat nor the owners of the retreat will be responsible for its use and/or charges connected to their use.  I understand the retreat will only provide an initial supply of paper products and once that supply is exhausted it is our responsibility to supply ourselves.  I understand that the facilities are on a well and septic system and other than bodily waste and small amounts of detergents/soaps/shampoos, only septic safe toilet paper is permitted down the drains.
